In tvN’s weekend drama Typhoon Family, Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha are going all in to sell out 7,000 pairs of safety shoes. The upcoming Episode 6 highlights their desperate yet determined efforts — from filming a full-on promotional video to attempting an English pitching challenge for overseas buyers.
Previously, Kang Tae-pung (played by Lee Jun-ho) faced a grim turn of fate. After chasing his dream of paradise, he instead encountered a brutal dose of reality. Park Yun-cheol (Jin Seon-kyu), the CEO of Shoe-park, was left severely beaten and fighting for his life after failing to repay a private loan. Despite having 5 million won that could solve their financial crisis by buying 500 pairs of safety shoes, Tae-pung refused to use the money for that. Staying true to his father Kang Jin-young’s (Sung Dong-il) lesson — to value people over profit — he decided to save Yun-cheol first.
As a result, Tae-pung made an extreme pledge. He stamped not just a fingerprint but his palm print on a promissory note, promising to sell all 7,000 pairs of confiscated safety shoes and pay back 100 million won, including interest on the private loan. On top of that, he accepted the shocking term — forfeiting the use of both eyes if he failed.
Now, viewers are curious: can Tae-pung really sell every pair and save both Yun-cheol and his eyesight?

— tvN drama (@CJnDrama) October 26, 2025The next episode puts Tae-pung and O Mi-seon (Kim Min-ha) in full-on sales mode. Their first move — a bold promotional video. In pre-released still cuts, Tae-pung is seen walking barefoot across a floor scattered with broken glass while wearing the safety shoes. He even performs a chair stunt, jumping over it mid-shot, proving his fearless dedication. “We want to show our judgment, our product, right?” he says, before leaping onto the glass — a scene that’s already generating buzz online.
Following Tae-pung’s daring act, Mi-seon takes charge. Having long studied business English to fulfill her dream of becoming a trader, she finally gets a chance to put her skills to work. Mi-seon tries her hand at English pitching for an international buyer — her first big step toward becoming a global trader. In newly released stills, her focused gaze reflects complete determination and confidence in success.
According to the production team, “Episode 6 will be the one where Tae-pung and Mi-seon write their ‘Legend of Ambition’ in their own ways. Tae-pung’s loyalty — choosing people over money — and Mi-seon’s relentless problem-solving spirit despite impossible odds will embody the true ambition of a sangsa-man (trader). Please look forward to their passionate teamwork.”
As Typhoon Family continues, fans can expect a mix of tension, grit, and ambition — showing how far ordinary people will go when everything’s on the line.
