NewJeans took home their first place trophy on the KBS2 music show “Music Bank“, with their new song ‘How Sweet,’ that aired on May 31st, and the group used the opportunity to express their love and appreciation for ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin.
Gratitude for Fans and ADOR
During their acceptance speech, Minji addressed the group’s fans, known as Bunnies, and the ADOR team:
“It’s been 10 months since NewJeans made our comeback, and I want to thank the Bunnies who have been waiting for us. I also want to thank our CEO, who always gives us the best support, the ADOR family, our Hermes staff, and our management team for helping us make a great comeback.”
Danielle echoed Minji’s sentiment, specifically thanking CEO Min Hee-jin:
“Once again, I want to thank our CEO, who is so loved and precious to us. I love you, CEO. I’m so happy and grateful to be able to share this wonderful stage with the Bunnies.”
CEO Min Hee-jin’s Legal Battle and Support from NewJeans
These expressions of gratitude come in the wake of a recent legal battle between CEO Min Hee-jin and HYBE. On May 30th, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of Min Hee-jin’s preliminary injunction against HYBE, allowing her to remain in her position as CEO of ADOR.
Following the court’s decision, Min Hee-jin held a press conference where she revealed her delight at the news and the positive reaction from NewJeans:
“The reaction of the NewJeans members was crazy. If they didn’t have any schedules, they would have all met up.”
Further demonstrating their support, NewJeans directly submitted a petition backing CEO Min Hee-jin before the interrogation date for the injunction.
