On the April 22nd episode of the SBS show Fortune Tellers’ Love 2, Lee Kang-won got kicked off the show for breaking the rules—just a day before the final selection, which totally shocked everyone.
The production team brought the cast together and told them, “Lee Kang-won has been removed due to a violation of the rules. There was a reason why he could not continue with us. We confirmed this, and as a result, he has been removed.”
Lee Kang-won spoke up, saying, “I am leaving the program due to a rules violation. I am leaving due to my own mistake. I am sorry for not telling the truth, and I want to apologize to the other cast members and everyone involved in the filming,” while bowing his head.
As he packed up his stuff and walked out of the house, the fortune-tellers were left totally confused.
Ha Byung-yeol shared how worried he was for Lee Ra-yoon, since she was paired with Kang-won as a destiny partner. He said, “Ra-yoon must be really upset.”
Lee Ra-yoon shared how she felt too, saying, “I was taken aback by Kang-won’s sudden departure, and because I had developed feelings for him, it was a bit heartbreaking. I cried a lot, but I will be okay,” showing she was trying to handle it all calmly.
