Comedians Kim Jun-ho (50) and Kim Ji-min (41) recently got married at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel. About 1,200 guests were present at the wedding, including many celebrities from the comedy scene.
Fellow comedian Park Sung-kwang shared scenes from the event on social media on the 13th. In the video, Kim Jun-ho walks in as the groom, welcomed by loud cheers from the crowd. Kim Ji-min follows, walking down the aisle hand-in-hand with comedian Kim Dae-hee.
Lee Sang-min of R.ef, who’s a longtime friend of Kim Jun-ho, officiated the ceremony. Singers Gummy and Byun Jin-sub performed congratulatory songs for the couple.
The bride walking with Kim Dae-hee held deeper meaning. On an episode of MBC TV’s Radio Star last May, Kim Dae-hee recalled, “Ji-min’s father passed away a few years ago (2017), and she told me, ‘If I ever marry Jun-ho sunbae, I’d like grumpy old Uncle Dae-hee to walk me down the aisle in place of my father.’” He added that he burst into tears at her words, deeply touched by the request.
The couple, who confirmed their relationship in April 2022, both come from KBS’s pool of comedians. They’ll keep working on their own individual activities and haven’t scheduled a honeymoon yet.
