Jeong SeoJu Wins Miss Trot 3

Jeong SeoJu was crowned the winner of Miss Trot 3 on the March 7th episode of the TV Chosun show. She beat out runner-up Bae AHyun by a margin of just 22 points.

The final scores were determined by a combination of master scores (1500 points), online voting (500 points), music scores (300 points), and real-time text voting (700 points).

Jeong SeoJu received the highest master score of 1485 points, followed by Bae (1483 points), MissKim (1482 points), Na-young (1476 points), Oh YuJin (1470 points), Jeong Seul (1453 points), and Kim SoYeon (1445 points).

In online voting, Jeong received 777.58 points, followed by Bae (618.29 points), Oh (508.37 points), Kim SoYeon (508.37 points), MissKim (448.46 points), Na-young (441.87 points), and Jeong Seul (246.11 points).

The combined scores for the top 7 contestants were:

In the final episode, each contestant performed a song of their choice.

Jeong Seul sang “Doraji Flower” by Jungsoo Ra. She dedicated the song to her mother, who had been battling breast cancer.

Kim SoYeon sang “Ilpyeondansim” by Geumjandi. She said she chose the song to thank her fans and parents for their support.

Oh YuJin sang “Halmeoni” by Kim Ho-joong. She dedicated the song to her grandmother, who she said was like a mother to her.

MissKim sang “Gojangnan Byeoksige” by Na Hoon-a. She said she chose the song because she wanted to spend time with her late parents.

Bae AHyun sang “Pyeongyang Ajeomma” by Na Hoon-a. She said she chose the song to thank her fans.

Na-young sang “Sarahaye Hal Iyoo” by Lee Young-hee. She said she chose the song because she wanted to apologize to her mother for her past resentment.

Seojoo Jeong sang “Uri Eomeoni” by Lee Hyo-jung. She dedicated the song to her mother and grandmother.

Jeong’s emotional performance earned her the top spot and the title of Miss Trot 3.

She is the third winner of the popular trot singing competition, following Songga In in season 1 and Yang Ji-eun in season 2.
