In an event titled GMMTV2024 UP & ABOVE PART2, GMMTV announced the creation of a massive project series, Scarlet Heart Thailand, based on the popular novel that has moved audiences worldwide in various adaptations, including Scarlet Heart (Chinese adaptation), Time to Love (Chinese adaptation), and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (Korean adaptation).
GMMTV Creates “Scarlet Heart Thailand” Series
On April 23, GMMTV officially announced the production of Scarlet Heart Thailand, revealing the lead cast: Win Metawin, Nanon Korapat, Tu Tontawan, Tay Tawan Vihokratana, Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul, Phuwin Tangsakyuen, Perth Tanapon Sukumpantanasan, and Force Jiratchapong Srisang. Directed by Fon Kanittha Kwunyoo, the series revolves around a young woman heartbroken by love and fate, who finds herself transported back in time to meet seven handsome princes. The pilot episode showcased Lanna-inspired costumes, leaving viewers eager to see how the Thai version will unfold.
Anticipation Builds for Scarlet Heart Thailand’s Thai Remake
Scarlet Heart Thailand is a remake of Tong Hua’s historical romance novel, Scarlet Heart. The story has already been adapted into popular Chinese and Korean dramas, Bu Bu Jing Xin (Scarlet Heart) in 2011 and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo in 2016, respectively. Fans are eagerly speculating on which Thai actors will portray the princes.
