(G)I-DLE’s MIYEON Releases Collaboration Track with Chinese Singer/Actress Jike Junyi.
(G)I-DLE’s MIYEON released a new track called “Glow Up,” and she teamed up with Chinese singer and actress Jike Junyi for this one. The song dropped on the 16th and is available on all major music streaming platforms.
The track comes in two versions: one where MIYEON sings solo, and another where she duets with Jike Junyi.
“Glow Up” is actually the first song from a new music project called the “Hearts” by NetEase Cloud Music, one of China’s biggest streaming platforms.
The song’s got this upbeat melody and some really positive lyrics, all about self-love and embracing the person you see in the mirror.
MIYEON shared her thoughts through her agency, saying, “Collaborating with Jike Junyi was an unforgettable experience. I look forward to meeting fans on stage together in the future.“
Jike Junyi also commented, “This is my first collaboration with a Korean singer, and it was very refreshing and interesting. I hope it conveys freedom and joy to those who listen.”
Jike Junyi first gained attention after finishing in third place on the first season of “The Voice of China” back in 2012. She’s been super popular ever since with songs like “Colorful Black” and has also been acting in leading roles for various films.
