G-Dragon (36) and former After School member Lee Joo-yeon (37) are caught up in dating rumors yet again — for the fifth time now.
On the 27th, Lee Joo-yeon shared a selfie on her social media where she’s seen chillin’ on a sofa with a cat in her arms. Not long after, online communities started buzzing, saying the pic looked like it was taken at G-Dragon’s place. Some sharp-eyed netizens pointed out that the sofa and the picture frame behind her looked an awful lot like the ones G-Dragon recently showed off at his house.
And that’s not all — the cat Lee Joo-yeon was holding had a pink scarf that looked super similar to one G-Dragon’s pet cat was spotted wearing. That just poured more fuel on the dating rumor fire.
Their first round of dating gossip popped up back on New Year’s Day in 2018. It was reported that G-Dragon and Lee Joo-yeon hung out at each other’s places and even took a trip to Jeju Island together. Both their sides quickly shut it down back then, saying they were “just close colleagues,” but the rumors kept popping up again in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
G-Dragon’s no stranger to dating buzz either. He’s been linked to Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara around August 2010, then there were rumors about Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, Japanese actress Nana Komatsu, and Blackpink’s Jennie. More recently, he sparked fresh talk when he tagged TWICE’s Sana’s Instagram handle in photos from a Coldplay concert in Korea.
As for Lee Joo-yeon, she made her debut with After School back in 2009 and later switched gears to acting after signing with a new agency in 2015. She’s appeared in a bunch of works, like the movies Summer Snow, The King, The Mayor, and even joined the SBS variety show Law of the Jungle in Northern Mariana Islands.
