Moon Ji-yeon’s husband, Mr. Kim, passed away on March 5 at the age of 45. The cause of death has not been released, but it is reported that Mr. Kim had been suffering from health problems for some time. Moon Ji-yeon got married in 2008, and their love story was a hot topic at the time. They first met in their third year of middle school and later became close while attending the same church. After starting to date in 2007 with the intention of marriage, they tied the knot a year and a half later.
Moon Ji-yeon, a well-known broadcaster and comedian in South Korea, began her career in 1993 when she won the Grand Prize at the Gangbyeon Song Festival as a member of the group Kalla. Two years later, she transitioned to comedy, making her debut on SBS through the channel’s 4th public audition.
The funeral for Mr. Kim will be held on March 8 at 8:00 AM at Myongji Hospital Funeral Home, Room 3. The burial will take place at Hambak Mountain Memorial Park in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. Moon Ji-yeon and her family are currently receiving mourners at the funeral home
