Actress Jeon Yeo Been is keeping viewers hooked with her strong dual performance in the Genie TV original drama ‘Ms. Incognito’, which continues to climb in popularity as it moves into its second half.
In the series, Jeon Yeo Been takes on two very different personas — Kim Yeong-ran, a “dirt spoon” bodyguard with a rough edge, and Bu Semi, a well-liked kindergarten teacher who seems to live a flawless life. Balancing these identities, she’s pulling off both cool charisma and lovable warmth, earning wide praise for her versatility.
Starting from Episode 6, ‘Ms. Incognito’ entered its second act — and things got a lot more intense. Kim Yeong-ran, who had been living quietly in the peaceful town of Muchang after taking on Bu Semi’s identity, suddenly finds her life turned upside down. The once-safe town is now under threat because of the return of the villainous siblings, shaking up her sense of security.
Still, Kim Yeong-ran isn’t fighting on her own anymore. Her team has grown. She’s joined by Jeon Dong-min (Jin-young), who promises to protect her no matter what, along with Lee Don (Seo Hyeon-woo) and Baek Hye-ji (Joo Hyun-young) — both of whom step in as reliable partners during dangerous moments. Together, their alliance turns her massive 4-trillion-won revenge plot into something bigger than a solo mission.
At the same time, because Kim Yeong-ran’s life has been full of hardship and emotional scars, viewers are expecting her past to come back and haunt her sooner or later. The focus now shifts to how Jeon Yeo Been will portray that tension — as her character faces deeper layers of suspense and psychological pressure in the second half of the story.
‘Ms. Incognito’ airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM (KST) on Channel ENA. After broadcast, it’s released as a free VOD on KT Genie TV, and it’s also available for streaming on TVING and Viki.
