A photo of Marie during her lifetime was posted along with the message. The actress also released a handwritten letter expressing deep affection and gratitude.

In the letter, Kim Jung-nan wrote, “My loving daughter Marie, I am so grateful and happy that you came to me as your mom. It must have been so hard for you to take that medicine you hated for so long.”
And she continued, “Now, let’s run around freely in heaven where there is no pain. Someday, when Mom goes to heaven, you will come to meet me, right? Until the day we meet again, my daughter, please always be happy.”

The news prompted condolences from colleagues in the industry. Fellow actress Yoon Se-ah commented under the post, “Once you arrive safely at the Cat Star, please visit your mom’s dreams. You worked hard, lovely one.”
The farewell message has moved many fans online, with sympathy pouring in for the long-time bond between the actress and her pet.
