The SBS Wednesday–Thursday series ‘Dynamite Kiss’ is gaining rapid momentum both domestically and overseas, climbing to No. 2 on the Netflix Global Top 10 (Non-English category, Nov 11–23). The growth is steady and noticeable, drawing huge attention from K-drama viewers searching for romantic-comedy dramas, love triangle K-dramas, and popular Korean dramas on Netflix.

Episode 4 (aired Nov 20) delivered a peak of 7.8% nationwide and 6.5% in metropolitan areas, securing the top position among all weekday miniseries across channels. This followed Episode 3 (Nov 19), which hit 6.8% peak viewership and 5.6% metropolitan ratings—breaking its own records for two consecutive episodes. The production team said the drama has “successfully revived the syndrome of SBS weekday romance dramas.”
Love Triangle Set to Explode in Episode 5
Episode 5, airing tonight (Nov 26, 9:00 PM), introduces a full-scale entry for Kim Seon-u (played by Kim Mu-jun), who’s appeared as Ko Da-rim’s long-time male friend and her fake husband of 20 years. His arrival triggers a direct emotional confrontation with Kong Ji-hyeok (played by Jang Ki-yong) and Ko Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun-jin).
A preview scene already gained attention: the three characters riding an elevator together — Kim Seon-u holding Ko Da-rim’s hand tightly, Ko Da-rim visibly nervous, and Kong Ji-hyeok watching them with a meaningful stare. The moment hinted at tension, awkwardness, and emotional conflict (all at once, honestly), raising expectations for viewers.
Regarding the development, the production team said:
“The love triangle officially begins in Episode 5 airing on the 26th. Kim Seon-u’s presence will bring meaningful changes to the emotional lines between Kong Ji-hyeok and Ko Da-rim.”
They continued:
“Actors Jang Ki-yong, Ahn Eun-jin, and Kim Mu-jun have infused tension into the romance while crossing between comedy and excitement. Please look forward to the chemistry of these three actors, who will make you laugh when it’s time to laugh and make your heart flutter when it’s time for romance.”
“Dynamite Kiss” is anticipated to climb higher on Netflix’s charts as its popularity grows internationally and it dominates its time slot. Fans are watching closely for how the emotional balance shifts between the three leads.
Episode 5 airs November 26 at 9:00 PM (SBS), and is available for streaming via Netflix.
