Main Trailer and Poster Released; Park Hae-soo and Jin Seon-kyu Join Cast — Premieres December 5
The new Netflix mystery thriller The Price of Confession (written by Kwon Jong-kwan, directed by Lee Jeong-hyo) unveiled its main poster and official trailer on the 20th, immediately raising anticipation for a perilous alliance between Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun. The series will drop globally on December 5, consisting of 12 episodes.
The drama follows Yoon-su (played by Jeon Do-yeon), who becomes the prime suspect in her husband’s murder case, and Mo-eun (Kim Go-eun), a mysterious figure labeled as a “Witch.” Their relationship begins when Mo-eun approaches Yoon-su after the first-trial sentencing of life imprisonment and proposes an unexpected exchange.
“I will confess that I killed your husband.”
The trailer reveals Mo-eun demanding a chilling condition in return: she asks Yoon-su to kill someone she couldn’t kill herself. As scenes show Yoon-su pushed to desperation, viewers are left wondering whether she accepts the bargain — or if both women are trapped by it.

The main poster displays the two women divided by a wall, staring in opposite directions.
Yoon-su appears with blood-stained clothing and a trembling, tearful expression, while Mo-eun stands calmly with an unreadable gaze. The contrast builds heavy tension. The tagline reads:
“Everyone has to pay.”
According to the production team, Mo-eun uses Yoon-su’s desperation to lure her into a dangerous deal, which is visually expressed through the back-to-back composition of the poster — distant bodies, but eyes locked for different reasons.
Surrounding the central duo, the trailer spotlights figures determined to expose what really happened.
- Park Hae-soo as Prosecutor Baek Dong-hoon — interrogates Mo-eun after her confession while keeping suspicion on Yoon-su.
- Jin Seon-kyu as Lawyer Jang Jeong-gu and Choi Young-jun as Lawyer Jin Young-in — both attempt to defend their clients yet grow doubtful as the women’s behavior becomes harder to track.
The footage ends with Yoon-su declaring:
“You must die for us to live,”
followed by Mo-eun’s reply:
“Now it’s time to return the favor.”
A final exchange that intensifies curiosity about what price the two must pay and who will survive the pact.
