The SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Taxi Driver 3’ is returning with new energy and higher expectations. The series will officially premiere on November 21 at 9:50 PM on Viki.
During the press conference held on November 18 at SBS Hall in Mokdong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, director Kang Bo-seung and cast members Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram shared their thoughts about the new season.
Lee Je-hoon Talks About Upgraded Action and Ratings Pressure

Back in the role of taxi driver Kim Do-gi, Lee Je-hoon highlighted noticeable changes in Season 3.
He said:
“The car has been upgraded. While the previous taxis were classic, this time the performance is excellent, and it runs incredibly well. It made filming the car action scenes much more comfortable. The design came out beautifully as well, so I think this will solidify itself as the signature car for Season 3.”
The drama previously logged strong national viewership — 16% in Season 1 and over 21% in Season 2. When asked if the team could surpass those numbers again, Lee shared honestly:
“It is difficult to dare make a prediction. However, thinking about the episodes we have filmed so far and the hard work on set, I believe Season 3 will be deeper, with a stronger bond, and provide a refreshing sense of satisfaction. That is the part I am looking forward to.”
He then expressed appreciation for viewers:
“When we started Season 1, I never imagined the story would continue until Season 3. Being able to reach Season 3 is entirely possible thanks to the love and support we received. I believe we will receive support this season as well. I will repay that support with cool, ‘Big Fun’.”
Production Team & Storyline Overview
‘Taxi Driver 3’ continues its revenge-operation format, in which the secret taxi organization Rainbow Transport executes justice for victims who couldn’t receive proper legal protection.
The drama is based on the webtoon “The Deluxe Taxi” (by Carlos and Keukeu Jae Jin).
Screenwriter Oh Sang-ho, responsible for the scripts of Seasons 1 and 2, returns to lead Season 3. Meanwhile, Kang Bo-seung, previously an assistant director for Season 1, steps up as the main director.
