Singer Sung Si-kyung opened up about his friendship with junior singer-actress Im Yoon-ah while reviewing the recently ended tvN drama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty.
On September 30, through the “Meok-eul-tende” segment of his YouTube channel Sung Si-kyung, the singer shared his thoughts while eating beef in the episode titled Sangbong Station Buheung Livestock. He said, “Yoon-ah is such a good actress. The male actor is also really handsome.”

He also mentioned that his connection with Yoon-ah has lasted for years, though they don’t communicate often. “Yoon-ah and I really only message once or twice a year,” Sung Si-kyung explained, stressing their quiet but steady friendship.
The singer recalled her joining him on stage in the past. “She even made a special appearance on a stage where I did a duet with senior singer Byun Jin-sub, performing ‘Wish.’ She’s so kind, beautiful, smart, and truly a fascinating person. That’s why I cheer her on,” he added with praise.
Speaking about the drama itself, Sung Si-kyung gave a favorable review. He pointed out its unique approach compared to Korean broadcasts or comics, commenting, “There isn’t that kind of broadcast or cartoon in Korea, is there? The scene where someone eats something and immediately says ‘Wow’ and flies away might be cheesy, but it’s the point people love the most. I think the idea is spot-on.”
The tvN series Bon Appetit, Your Majesty—a fantasy romantic comedy based on a popular web novel—ended its broadcast on September 28, with Im Yoon-ah leading the cast.
