The JTBC drama “A Hundred Memories” is starting to pick up speed as the love triangle between Ko Young-rye (Kim Da-mi), Seo Jong-hui (Shin Ye-eun), and Han Jae-pil (Heo Nam-jun) becomes more complicated. Episode 4 airs today (September 21) at 10:30 PM KST on JTBC, and is also available for streaming on TVING in Korea and on Viki for international viewers.

Last week’s Episode 3 ended with a painful twist—Ko Young-rye, ready to confess to her first love, froze when she realized Han Jae-pil actually liked her best friend Seo Jong-hui. Instead of receiving her words, he asked her to hand Seo his note with his number, leaving Young-rye visibly heartbroken.
In Episode 4, viewers will see Han Jae-pil and Seo Jong-hui going on a date. Their day includes stops at a music café, a Western-style restaurant, and a clothing store. While Jong-hui looks relaxed, Jae-pil appears tense and awkward, showing signs that his feelings are starting to grow.
Yet, the preview tells a different story. Seo Jong-hui is shown tearing up Jae-pil’s note and saying, “I’m not interested in dating. And he doesn’t know a thing about me.” Still, later in the date, her emotions seem to shift. She admits, “I’m strangely a little bit bothered by him.” This unexpected change raises questions about her real intentions.
The production team explained, “The misplaced note, past wounds, and the hearts of these young people, who believe in love, are all moving in different directions, leading to an unpredictable development.”
Meanwhile, Nielsen Korea reported that Episode 3 drew a 4.3% viewership rating nationwide and in the Seoul metropolitan area (based on paid households), marking a steady rise from earlier broadcasts. With Episode 4 set to air tonight, anticipation is high to see how the three characters navigate their emotions and what direction the story will take next.
