“Better Late than Single” Tops Netflix Charts Following Episode 6 Release
Netflix’s newest dating reality show, Better Late than Single, is now sitting at the top of the domestic daily charts, just a week after its July 8 premiere. The series, featuring adults who’ve never dated before, launched episodes 4–6 today (the 15th), pushing the emotional pace and drama to a new level.
The show got a strong response for its fresh take on dating shows, highlighting awkward first experiences from people who’ve never been in relationships. Their early struggles—from total makeover transformations to stumbling through first dates—have made it stand out from typical romance shows.
It’s not just the cast getting attention. The Spark Makers—Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji, and Car, the Garden—bring a loud and opinionated presence. Their blunt commentary and extreme support help drive the show’s energy. “They’re not perpetual singles!” and “They’re like Dex!” Lee Eun-ji and Seo In-guk shout, surprised at one participant’s sudden confidence in flirting.
In the latest episodes, viewers get to see the contestants move past the basic stage and into active dating attempts. Things start getting messy as love triangles and emotional breakdowns start to surface. One double date triggers big reactions from Kang Han-na and Car, the Garden, yelling, “The war has begun!” and “This might be their first and last chance in life, so they have to risk everything!”
