Announcers Bae Sung-jae and Kim Da-young are officially hitched! They’ve completed their marriage registration, according to Bae’s agency, SM C&C. “Bae Sung-jae and Kim Da-young completed their marriage registration in mid-May. We understand they recently returned from their honeymoon,” the agency shared. But they also added that they can’t confirm anything else, since the rest is private.
These two go way back. They first met as senior and junior announcers at SBS and got closer while working on the SBS variety show Kick a Goal. The age gap? Yep, it’s 14 years—Bae was born in 1978, and Kim in 1992.
Their relationship had already made headlines earlier this year. Back in February, SM C&C said, “After two years of dating, Bae Sung-jae and Kim Da-young recently promised to be life partners. They wished for a quiet start, foregoing all formalities, and plan to hold a family dinner in lieu of a wedding ceremony.”
Now, after keeping things low-key, the couple’s quietly stepped into married life.
