Lee Hye-won recently shared the sweet Parents’ Day gift she got from her son, Ahn Ri-hwan — and it melted hearts online.
The gift? A simple carnation and a handwritten letter where Ahn Ri-hwan wrote, “I’m always sorry for being a lacking son. I will become a more improved and proud son.”
Fans who saw the post got emotional, with one commenting, “Just looking at the handwriting brings tears to my eyes.” Lee Hye-won replied warmly, “Right? My little one has grown up so much.”
Clearly touched, she said, “Thank you, son! You are a son I’m proud of!” and shared the moment with her followers.
Lee Hye-won, a former Miss Korea, married Ahn Jung-hwan back in 2001. The couple has one son and one daughter.
