The first episode of the SBS drama “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” aired on March 29th, and it focused on Mo Ne’s (played by Lee Yoo-bi) difficult situation.

Mo Ne feels conflicted after accepting help from Matthew (played by Uhm Ki Joon) to survive. She’s angry about needing his unwanted kindness. Back home, she throws away money Matthew gave her and looks at Do-hyeok’s (played by Lee Joon) wanted poster, upset about everything.

Mo Ne unknowingly visits her mother’s soup restaurant and is surprised to see Han Na (played by Shim Ji-yu) working there. Worried, Mo Ne warns Han Na of danger and expresses her frustration with her mother’s stubbornness.

In a desperate attempt to protect her mother, Mo Ne withdraws cash and begs her to hide somewhere safe. But it’s too late – her mother is already gone. Mo Ne breaks down in tears, filled with regret. Despite this setback, she finds renewed determination to find her mother again, vowing to endure no matter what.

Lee Yoo-bi’s acting shines as she portrays Mo Ne’s complex emotions. We see Mo Ne’s anger at the situation mixed with her need to make tough choices. Lee Yoo-bi also hints at a deeper emotional journey for Mo Ne, contrasting her tough exterior with the vulnerability she shows around her family.

Lee Yoo-bi’s strong performance sets the stage for Mo Ne’s character development, leaving viewers excited to see what she does next.

“The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” starring Lee Yoo-bi airs every Friday and Saturday at 10 PM on SBS.
