On February 28th, Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, the stars of the upcoming film “Dune: Part Two,” recently appeared on the South Korean TV show “You Quiz on the Block” to promote their film. During the interview, they talked about their friendship, their experiences working on “Dune 2,” and their surprisingly mundane lives outside of Hollywood.

During the interview, they talked about their friendship, their experiences working on “Dune 2,” and their surprisingly mundane lives outside of Hollywood.
When asked about their favorite scenes in “Dune: Part Two,” Chalamet said that he enjoyed the fight scene between his character, Paul Atreides, and Austin Butler’s character, Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen. Zendaya said that she had a hard time choosing just one favorite scene, but she mentioned that she was particularly proud of the work she did in the film.
Both actors praised director Denis Villeneuve, calling him a “genius.” They also revealed that they had been planning their matching outfits for the “You Quiz on the Block” appearance for years.
When asked if they were close friends outside of work, Chalamet and Zendaya said that they were not. “We only see each other when we have work,” Zendaya said. Yoo Jae-suk, the host of “You Quiz on the Block,” joked that this was the definition of true friendship.
Chalamet and Zendaya also talked about their early days in Hollywood. Chalamet said that he was a “huge movie nerd” growing up and that he often went to the movies with his mother. He also said that he had failed many auditions and received negative feedback before finally landing his breakthrough role in “Call Me by Your Name.”
Zendaya said that she was grateful for the opportunity to be an actor. “It feels like I’ve been doing this forever,” she said. “I love acting so much that it doesn’t even feel like work.”
When asked about their lives outside of Hollywood, Chalamet and Zendaya both said that they were “boring.” Zendaya said that she rarely leaves her house and that her favorite activities include playing with her dog and reading scripts.
Chalamet said that he enjoys playing video games, memorizing lines, and taking showers. He also said that he sometimes cooks omelets.
